Dear Friends,  We request your prayers once again for peace to prevail in Hondurous.  Yesterday, ex-president Mel Zelaya returned to Hondurous and began calling for increased action from members of his resistance movement.  Zelaya is demanding to be returned to power or die (his words not mine).  In an attempt to maintain peace, President Mitchelletti has imposed a nationwide curfew and temporarily closed all airports.

We are thankful for our peaceful of El Venodo.  Although not everyone in El Venodo views this situation the same way, there is no there is no violence here or lawlessness.  We are safe and will continue our work as scheduled.  Our dedication to this project has been made stronger by these events, as poverty hits this little country even harder and the need for the Hope of Jesus Children's Home increases.  The current political unrest is temperary, and is not characteristic of Hondurous's history.  Once a new President is elected in November, we are confident peace will return to Hondurous.  In the meantime, please pray for Hondurous' leaders.

In Peace,

Kim and Mike Miller
